INJE, Sept. 13 (Korea Bizwire) – Inje County’s Cultural Foundation revealed on September 12 that the county’s Wheel Festival held from July 21 through 23 was attended by 18,000 people, 13,217 of whom were out of county visitors.
The festival proved to be a financial bonanza for the region, having a positive financial impact of 1.33 billion won.
There were a total of 37 activities offered, nine more than last year’s festival.
Some of the more popular activities were RC (radio-controlled) car racing and motorless vehicle races.
Criticism of the festival typically revolved around a lack of parking spaces and suitable rest spots.
