SEOUL, Sept 2. (Korea Bizwire) – Daum Kakao has announced the release of the official version of a new smartphone application called ‘Kakao Hello’.
Kakao Hello is an app that blocks spam numbers, manages contacts, and provides other convenient features related to voice calls.
By logging in one’s Kakao account, the pictures of contacts can be changed to their KakaoTalk profile pictures, and one can easily identify acquaintances by tagging them.
If one’s mobile phone number is changed, Kakao Hello automatically alerts friends to the changed number, diminishing the inconvenience of texting everyone to inform them that you have changed your number.
Also, Kakao Hello provides a backup and synchronization of contact information, so even if a user changes his/her phone, all of their contacts can be restored by signing into their Kakao account.
Celebrating the release of the final product, Daum Kakao will offer users new emoticons of Kakao Friends.
