SEOUL, South Korea, Oct 09 (Korea Bizwire) – Taekwondo is no doubt one of the proudest products of Korea. The World Taekwondo Hanmadang 2013 was held for four days from August 28 to 31 at Daejeon Chungmu Gymnasium. The 21st annual event was participated by 3,400 Taewondo masters and high-rankers from 46 countries worldwide.
The demonstration team from Kukkiwon, or World Taewondo Headquarters, showed off new beautifully choreographed moves for 15 minutes, with standing ovations from the audience at the end.
The demonstration symbolized “let’s overcome cultural difference through Taekwondo.” While performing the show, the athletes cried out “We are one!” giving the chills to everyone present.
