SEOUL, Nov. 25 (Korea Bizwire) — Today is the age of ‘dawn delivery’ in South Korea – not only for food, but also laundry.
Along with the increase in the number of people who stay at home due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of laundry delivery service users is also on the rise.
The number of such users is growing by 15 to 20 percent on a monthly basis. At present, the South Korean laundry delivery app market is led by Laundrygo, WashSwat and ReWhite.
WashSwat washes and delivers laundry back to users in 48 hours after they put their laundry in a bag and hang it on a door handle.
Laundrygo and WashSwat deliver laundry after washing it at their own smart factories, while ReWhite offers delivery service in collaboration with neighboring laundry shops.
Laundrygo and WashSwat are available in some metropolitan areas, while Rewhite’s coverage is greater and includes the cities of Busan and Gwangju.
