BUSAN, Jun. 8 (Korea Bizwire) — A boar caused a scene at the center of Busan’s downtown, running wild for fifteen minutes before finally being shot by the police.
On June 7, police received a report that a boar had hit a car and ran away. About 20 ambulance crews and police officers ran to the scene where the over-100 kilogram boar was causing a commotion.
As a tranquillizer shot into the boar failed to stabilize it, the police shot it with six bullets.
To everyone’s surprise, the boar kept moving despite the gunshot wounds, and was finally put down by six more bullets.
