SEOUL, Sept. 19 (Korea Bizwire)SK Telecom said on September 18 that it held a presentation session on the same day with start-up firm members of the “Bravo! Restart” program that supports ICT-based entrepreneurs. It pledged that it would help the member firms reach the 50 billion won sales revenue goal by the end of next year.

At the presentation session held at the headquarters building in Seoul’s downtown, representatives of the 12 firms who took part in the second round of the program made presentations on the products and services they have developed through the program. The event was attended by dignitaries including Minister of Science, ICT and Future Planning Lee Seok-joon and heads of organizations such as the Daejeon Creative Economy Innovation Center, Daejeon city government, and Sejong city government.

In addition, those from venture capitalists such as Capstone Partners showed keen interest in the entrepreneurs nurtured by the SK Telecom-sponsored program.

Bravo! Restart is a customized one-stop start-up sponsorship program that the company began last year. For the one full year, the program is considered to have contributed in an important way to development of the ICT-based start-up ecosystem by helping novel ideas into commercial products and services.
