SEOUL, Nov. 30 (Korea Bizwire) — Asked on what they fantasize about when they think of life as a newlywed, most singles in their 20s and 30s said they would like to regularly travel overseas and decorate their new home.
Duo, a matchmaking information service, asked 419 singles about the fantasies they have about newly-married life, 39.8 percent of whom said they wanted to travel regularly overseas.
Another 18.8 percent said they wanted to share their hobbies with their spouse, while 16.7 percent wanted to decorate their new home, and 13.4 percent picked breakfast prepared by their new spouse every morning.
Among female respondents, 41.2 percent fantasized about decorating their new home.
Another 21 percent wanted to regularly travel overseas, while 16.7 percent fantasized about sharing hobbies, and 12 percent said they hoped to go on dates at grocery stores.
To achieve their dreams, 43.5 percent of male respondents said they needed to be wealthy, while 40.3 percent of female respondents pointed to communicating with their spouse.
Asked on when they think ‘newlywed life’ ends, 35.3 percent of respondents said it ends when children are born.
Another 24.3 percent said until one year after the wedding, while 21.5 percent said until the couple stops thinking they’re newlyweds, and 11.2 percent said until two years after the wedding.
