Chinese Version of “Infinite Challenge” Coming to CCTV

SEOUL, March 17 (Korea Bizwire)MBC, the producer of the famous real variety program “Infinite Challenge,” will create a Chinese version of the program in partnership with CCTV.

MBC announced that it would hold a production press conference to announce the advancement of the program into China, and sign an MoU with CCTV to jointly produce the program, in Shanghai on March 18.

MBC said, “Currently, many broadcasting companies and productions are rumored to produce the program, which is causing confusion in the market. To avoid related damages, we decided to make an official announcement. Only CCTV can use the ‘Infinite Challenge’ format, and any other programs that violate our intellectual property will face legal countermeasures.”

The first season of the Chinese version of “Infinite Challenge” will feature 12 episodes, and will air on Sundays starting at the end of October on CCTV-1.

MBC’s Infinite Challenge staff will be dispatched to China to help produce the Chinese version of the show.
