SEOUL, Feb. 26 (Korea Bizwire) — Despite the ongoing coronavirus spread, different sanitation policies among companies are frustrating employees.
Some companies offer masks and hand sanitizer at the office, while others only go so far to advising employees to stay ‘sanitized,’ without offering any support.
With protective masks and hand sanitizer in short supply, a new practice of sorting ‘good’ companies from ‘bad’ ones based on the availability of masks and hand sanitizer is spreading among employees.
“Protective masks are essential in terms of limiting the spread of the coronavirus. Companies should make an effort to provide masks at least to front office employees,” said Prof. Lee Byeong-hoon from Chung-Ang University.
