SEOUL, Feb. 28 (Korea Bizwire) — The Ministry of Environment completed a special crackdown on emissions at 814 businesses using drones and other cutting-edge devices from November of last year to February 21.
The probe found 289 violations in 227 locations, which accounted for 27.9 percent of all businesses.
A total of 36 drones, 18 monitoring vehicles, and two unmanned airships were deployed as part of the investigation.
The government plans to introduce three new optical gas imaging (OGI) cameras to detect emissions sources other than chimneys.
