SEOUL, Korea, Nov 14 (Korea Bizwire) – Korea’s first “resort house complex” will be built near Chuncheon, 70 kilometers northeast Seoul. Hanwon Group, the real estate developer with experience in building apartments, residential-commercial complexes, shopping malls, and golf courses for the past 20 years, said recently that it would set to develop resort houses “The Spring” near the South Chuncheon Country Club in a site of 2.6 million square meters.

A resort house is a town house in a pastoral setting equipped with all luxury amenities such as golf courses, spas, hotels, and emergency medical services. The construction on The Spring will be completed by 2016, with 800 housing units in three sections. The first batch of 137 houses will be put on sale soon. The company will open a promotion center in Seoul’s Gangnam and start taking pre-orders for the units.

Located on the 300-meter foothills of a mountain, the area is ideal for those looking for healthy, relaxed lifestyle. All houses come with a terrace and a front garden. The on-site medical service is linked 24 hours a day with a university hospital in Chuncheon for emergency patients. All the houses are maintained by the resort’s housekeeping staff, with hotel-like concierge service at the ready.

The residents will be entitled to enjoy golf games at the 18-hole South Chuncheon Country Club, as well as at a nine-hole golf club within the premises. Within the compound, the occupants can have barbecue parties and luxury camping with guests of all ages. Access to the resort is also convenient, with only 30 minutes by car from Gangil Exit in east Seoul. It takes 2 hours from Incheon International Airport, 1 hour from Sokcho on the east coast, and 1 hour from Seoul via the train. By car, it takes only 10 minutes to Chuncheon downtown. For further information, call 02-518-0020 or visit the company’s website at www.the-spring.co.kr.
