Samsung Engineering Wins FEED Contract for Key Petrochemical Plant in Saudi Arabia

SEOUL, Sept. 28 (Korea Bizwire) – Samsung Engineering announced on Wednesday that it had received a $19.5 million FEED (Front End Engineering Design) contract for a petrochemical plant in Saudi Arabia.

The project, commissioned by Alujain National Industrial Co., involves the basic design of a propane dehydrogenation (PDH) plant with an annual capacity of 600,000 tons and a polypropylene (PP) plant with an annual capacity of 500,000 tons, along with the necessary utility facilities for the plants in the Yanbu Industrial Complex in Saudi Arabia.

The company disclosed that its extensive experience in PDH and PP projects in Saudi Arabia, coupled with its design competitiveness, played a key role in winning the project contract.

Samsung Engineering expressed its commitment to pursue the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract upon successful project completion.
