SEOUL, Aug. 11 (Korea Bizwire) — SK Telecom Co. announced Monday that it will offer regular courses for colleges starring company staff with expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) technology teaching AI theories and business cases.
Sixteen universities in South Korea, including Seoul National University and Korea University, currently incorporate AI as part of their school curriculum. The number of colleges wishing to introduce curriculum on AI has more than tripled since last year.
The curriculum consists of 49 episodes, inviting 15 doctoral instructors with expertise in voice, video recognition and other AI technologies.
It also offers 113 educational content modules related to the 4th Industrial Revolution, along with Q&A sessions where students communicate directly with experts.
SK Telecom plans to continue supplying educational content to schools using the company’s AI expertise and IT assets to nurture the next generation of AI professionals and experts.
