SEOUL, Dec. 20 (Korea Bizwire) — Revenue at Starbucks’ specialty coffee brand Reserve is up more than 70 percent on year, with more than 6 million cups served since the special stores were launched five years ago.
Starbucks first introduced Starbucks Reserve store in 2014, and has been operating premium stores with an independent dedicated bar since 2016.
With an additional 18 Starbucks Reserve bars launched this year, there are currently 62 bar stores in operation, ranking South Korea second in the world after China, which has 120 Starbucks Reserve bar stores in operation.
“Starbucks Reserve allows customers to choose their own beans and methods of extraction, so they can enjoy coffee to suit their individual tastes,” Starbucks Coffee Korea said.
