SEOUL, Jan. 26 (Korea Bizwire) — Hyundai Motor Group announced Monday the introduction of a service robot capable of engaging with customers at the company’s dealerships.
The service robot, named DAL-e, was designed to connect customers with salespeople at Hyundai dealerships.
It includes facial recognition and self-driving technology to engage with customers in various environments.
The robot can ask unmasked customers to wear protective masks, speak in natural tones, and move its arms to react to customer behavior, moving up a notch in the contact-free robot experience.
It also recognizes nearby obstacles, evading them via self-driving technology, and moves on four wheels, allowing navigation in all directions.
