SEOUL, Dec. 24 (Korea Bizwire) — The Korea Broadcast Advertising Corp.(KOBACO), a state-run broadcasting ad agency, said Thursday that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with local IT startups Storelink and Kloser to prevent digital ad fraud.
The initiative comes after a soaring number of fraud cases involving abuse of the method of measuring the effect of digital ads by manipulating advertising data .
Under terms of the MOU, the parties will develop a search platform using marketing big data to detect advertising scam companies, while upgrading the capabilities of the advertising data verification system.
Kloser develops tools for the prevention of advertising fraud through artificial intelligence (AI)-based learning of big data secured through an acquaintance recommendation marketing platform.
KOBACO is expected to exchange digital ad fraud prevention technology and information with Storelink and Kloser as part of the deal.
