JEJU, April 10 (Korea Bizwire) — On March 10th, the Nexon Computer Museum announced its upcoming large-scale artwork exhibition, “Hello, REAL World!” The exhibition is set to celebrate the museum’s 10th anniversary and the 20th anniversary of the popular online game, MapleStory.
The exhibition features five beloved MapleStory characters – Pink Bean, Yeti, Slime, Stone Spirit, and Orange Mushroom – passing through a portal on the museum’s exterior wall set against the game’s representative map, Hennessy.
The Nexon Computer Museum, located in Jeju, is a unique and experiential museum that allows visitors to explore the history and evolution of “computers” and “games,” two mediums that have significantly impacted human life. Created by the game company Nexon, the museum showcases an extensive collection of computer and gaming technology.
You can see everything from the first generation of personal computers, including Steve Jobs’ APPLE1, to the latest in computer gadgets, such as laser beam typewriters and VR. Most of the collections are displayed in a way that visitors can experience them directly, rather than through glass cases.
