SEOUL, June 7 (Korea Bizwire) — Two camels at Seoul Grand Park, which have been isolated from the public since June 2 due to concerns over MERS, were confirmed to have tested negative for the virus on June 5. Seoul Grand Park showed the camels to the public on June 6. Park officials said that the park will continue to sterilize the camels and their stalls twice a day.
The park will also stop or postpone entertainment programs to prevent any possible spread of the virus. A rose festival scheduled for June 6 and 7 has been cancelled, while a painting competition for kids has been postponed. The zoo, gardens and the campground are still open to the public.
