The agency will send research equipment needed for developing crops that can resist pests and climate change to AGROSAVIA, a nonprofit Colombian public organization that supervises agricultural research.

The agency also plans to repair or expand nurseries needed to mass produce new crop species.

Education on the impact of climate change on local crops will also be provided to enhance agricultural productivity.
