SEOUL, April 22 (Korea Bizwire) — Nanum Car, a car-sharing service offered by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, is expanding the scope of its service to make vehicles more accessible to those who wish to use them.
The city announced Tuesday that it plans to roll out its car sharing service in neighborhoods across the city.
Nanum Car originally focused on dense urban areas with large floating populations, resulting in the inconvenience of having to leave home or work to pick up a car.
From now on, the customers will be able to pick up a car at home or work.
The new car-sharing service for local communities is focused expanding the number of cars offered in residential areas and other convenient locations.
Residents will also be able to offer a parking space to a local Nanum car service provider in exchange for discounts when using a Nanum car.
