SEOUL, Sept. 29 (Korea Bizwire) — CJ O Shopping, a home shopping affiliate of CJ ENM, announced on Monday that Ssangyong Motor Co.’s new automobile, the 2021 Tivoli Air, will be unveiled during a live broadcast at 7:45 pm on Oct. 7.
It is the first time for a new car presentation to be made via a TV home shopping broadcast. Sales will begin following the presentation.
“With the recent trend of contact-free business transactions, this will set a new paradigm for online car sales,” CJ O Shopping said.
Online shopping giant 11st is accepting pre-orders for the new Tivoli Air online until Oct. 5, a day before the official launch.
The online shopping portal is also offering a 200,000 won (US$170) discount coupon for 100,000 won, which can be used to purchase the new Tivoli Air.
