YouTubers Post Videos on Typhoon Lingling

SEOUL, Sept. 10 (Korea Bizwire)A series of videos are being posted on YouTube showing how Typhoon Lingling impacted South Korea.

YouTuber Kim Yun-kyeom was shooting a video on the roof of a small residence in Incheon in Saturday afternoon when he was surprised by a sudden deafening noise, which turned out to be the roof of a house across the street being ripped apart by the typhoon.

“The wind was strong enough to push me away, I was barely standing at that time,” said Kim.

Another YouTube video showed dozens of full-grown trees on a small hill near Paju, Gyeonggi Province uprooted by the typhoon.

“The trees were torn down, but the rice that we planted was safe,” he said.

Yet another YouTube channel on cats posted a video of the typhoon smashing the windows of the YouTuber’s home in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province.

“I was lucky to bring all the cats indoors. Things could’ve turned out to be a disaster,” the YouTuber said.

Other videos included members of a soccer club at a local university soccer field escaping the typhoon that hit the area, and boxes stacked in front of a convenience store being blown away by the wind.
