7-Eleven reported a 2.5-fold increase in energy drink sales between 8 p.m. and midnight on Monday compared to three weeks earlier.

Emart 24 analyzed sales data between 8 and 10 p.m., which showed that sales of non-alcoholic beer, energy drinks, and ready-to-drink coffee jumped by 81 percent, 56 percent and 26 percent, respectively.

The sales boost was likely led by the fact that consumers had to return to their daily routines after the early-morning match.
