SEOUL, Oct. 13 (Korea Bizwire) – KT, the second largest mobile carrier in Korea, opened a dedicated website for EyeWire, an online video game platform in which so called “citizen scientists” can exchange their ideas supporting the completion of brain map, “connectome,” while also enjoy gaming.
KT decided to team up with Sebastian Seung, a world renowned brain scientist and developer of the game, to jointly advance the completion of the map last August. KT localized the English-based EyeWire game and players can join the game on Chrome web browser. Gamers with high scores will be offered handsome gifts including BMW Mini Bike, Bluetooth speaker and iPad Mini.
