SEOUL, Aug. 30 (Korea Bizwire) On the evening of August 29, pedestrians around Seoul Station stopped and watched as giant silhouettes of speed skaters were superimposed on the expansive Seoul Square building across the street.

As part of a collaborative project, writers Cha Dong Hoon, Kim Min Sun and Choi Moon Sun (also known as the group “Mweon”) and others formed a five-member team to celebrate the coming 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics in the heart of Seoul.

The artwork has been dubbed “Chorus”, and will display athletes ranging from snowboarders to figure skaters in their preparatory stages of stretching and mental preparation.

Jin Dallae and Park Woo Hyu’s “Run, Run, Run” piece places Pyeongchang as the next plateau from which the future generation will break old records and advance towards the unknown.

Kim Jang Oh’s work with geometric shapes and forms to illuminate the reality of the silhouettes on ice and snow have attracted positive attention.

The nighttime display will be visible until next March at Seoul Square.
