SEOUL, March 18 (Korea Bizwire) — Following the world’s first drive-through test center for coronavirus, South Korea has developed the world’s first walk-through test center where a person enters a booth for a quick test for COVID-19.
H Plus Yangji Hospital in Seoul introduced the first walk-through test center, which minimizes physical contact between patients and doctors.
The booth is a negative pressure compartment, reducing the risk of transmission to the medical staff.
At the walk-through test center, it takes just five minutes to extract a test sample, which is faster than the average of 10 minutes at drive-through test centers or 20 to 30 minutes at hospital outposts for coronavirus tests.
