SEOUL, Nov. 29 (Korea Bizwire) – The most beautiful Korean woman would have the eyes of Kim Tae-hee, the nose of Han Ga-in and the lips of Song Hye-kyo according to 290 South Koreans.
Pharmaceuticals company Hugel teamed up with members of university hospitals to survey 290 individuals, 72 of them medical professionals, and diclosed the results on November 28.

Actress Kim Tae-hee featured prominently at the number one spot across a number of categories. The wife of fellow celebrity and musician Rain took 40.7 percent of the vote for having the most beautifully shaped face, the most beautiful eyes (35.9 percent) and the most desired, beautiful skin (35.5 percent).

For facial shape and eyes, Song was right behind Jun Ji-hyun (21.4 percent) at third place with 21.0 percent for the former and was again third with 24.1 percent support in the latter category. Han’s eyes were ranked fourth with 23.1 percent of the vote, while Jun’s nose received 23.1 percent of the responses and also came in fourth.
Actress Moon Chae-won was a favorite amongst the respondents as well, having the fourth most beautifully-shaped face, the second most beautiful eyes, the third most beautiful nose and the second best skin.

Interestingly, the opinions of the medical sector and the rest of the respondents diverged on what specific category was the deciding factor in guaranteeing beauty. While 92.9 percent of the doctors said that the arrangement of the eyes, nose and mouth was the most important, 95.9 percent of all others said skin quality was the major factor.
The survey also gleaned insights into how individuals gather information about beauty treatments and cosmetic surgery, with 50 percent saying the internet was the source, and the other 50 percent saying friends and TV (28.4 percent, 20.6 percent). Respondents in their 20s were more likely to trust information from friends, as 6 out of 10 stated that the results of cosmetic surgery done by friends were the most reliable way of gathering information.
